I did, it One of my earliest childhood memories is of Waylon walking into our little farm house near Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee. He smiled at me, reached down and ruffled my hair. Waylon seemed like a giant to me. I couldn’t have been more than two years old. I miss ol' hoss. I remember being at my dad’s recording sessions for “Renegade Picker”. I remember answering the phone when Townes Van Zandt would call the house. He’d always chat with me a minute before asking to speak with ol’ Steve. Legendary people and events were all around me. I
spent my 20s trying to step out of the shadow my dad cast, playing rock
music and So,
I made this album. Mostly for myself. It was just the sort of collection
